He's a cute little guy. These beloved creatures have the run of Great Brittian where they are protected by law. They devour so many garden pests that the gardener that has one reside there certainly is lucky. A good sales point to remind your customers is that things that bring good luck are good gift items. A little tag attached that says Hamilton the Good luck Hedgehog would increase your sales.

This is the finished product. It
only takes a few cents worth of cement to pour this mold. The simple two color wash only
takes a minute to do and it's very efective. Hamilton sells well to gift shops
florist shops and garden centers. Your customers will love to pick up this little figure (
it's approximately 5 1/2" tall) and handle it. That "handle and hold"
appeal is purposley built into it by the round shape I gave it when I sculpted it. I
wanted it to have a friendly, cuddly look even though it is made of durable concrete
or plaster. I think I succeeded because when I take it around to the shops the
first thing people say when they see it is "oh it's so cute !"
After a week of brushing on latex,
curing the rubber, and making the backup shell this Hamilton Hedgehog latex mold and
fiberglass /TufCal backup shell are ready for sale. (actually It'll probably be
a different one. Hopefully this one will be gone by then ) This is an easy mold to pour
and the casting is easy to remove from the rubber. It's great for beginners because they
can learn concrete mixing and pouring techniques without wasting large amounts of
material.
