The VS-3000 spray unit is a meter mixing sprayer designed specifically for use with pattented Polygel self-thickening liquid rubbers and plastics. The two low viscousity components are pumped, in the proper ratio, mixed thouroughly and sprayed from a hand held gun.
The mixed material strikes the surface of the model while still low in viscosity for best penetration of detail. Seconds after contact, the material will gel to a grease-like consistency, remaining workable for 15 minutes. This allows the capture of precise detail while building mold thickness quickly without excessive runoff.
The VS-3000 spray unit provides tremendous savings in time and materials, particularly with on-site mold making applications. It produces better quality molds and shells than could be made with application by hand.
